Travis Mills Foundation – Organization Overview

TRAVIS MILLS FOUNDATION

“Never Give Up. Never Quit.”

Supporting Post-9/11 Recalibrated Veterans & Their Families

OUR MISSION

The Travis Mills Foundation supports post-9/11 recalibrated veterans and their families through programs that help these heroic men and women overcome physical and emotional obstacles, strengthen their families, and provide well-deserved rest and relaxation. All programs and retreats are provided completely free of charge.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

The Foundation was established by retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills, one of only five active-duty quadruple amputees to survive Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. After losing portions of all four limbs in an IED explosion, Travis refused to be defined by his injuries β€” he coined the term “recalibrated” to describe adjusting to a new normal, rather than calling himself a “wounded warrior.” His remarkable resilience and determination to serve fellow veterans became the driving force behind the Foundation.
